Starting Well

It’s always lovely to visit classes on the first day of a new term, and surprising to observe how much the students have ‘grown’ over the holiday break. They were full of excitement and good intentions for a new term of learning.

First day back is also full of news and stories about holiday antics and achievements. Here are some happenings that students in 2B and 2D shared:

On the holidays I went to Area 51, and I went on the huge blue slide with my friends. Unzilla 2B

On the holidays I travelled to Malaysia. I went to a water festival and had a great time. Addy 2B

On my holidays I went to O'Reilly's, and I learnt about a tree called the Gympie Gympie. Isla 2B

On the holidays I went to the cinema to watch the DogMan movie. Milir 2B

On the holidays there was a storm, and my lights switched on and off! Irfan 2D

On the holidays I lost a tooth on Easter Friday. The tooth fairy came! Quinn 2D

On the holidays I went to the Sunshine Coast. There was a big water park. Nadia 2D
