Rural Discovery Excursion

On Tuesday this week, all Prep classes went on our Rural Discovery Excursion at the Exhibition grounds. We enjoyed milking a cow, feeding sheep, making our own scarecrows, packing strawberries, and grinding our own wheat. We learnt about many different types of farming from grain, wool, strawberries, worm and dairy farming and the importance of keeping pests away. We were very excited to be able to take home a sample of wool, and the strawberries we packed! Here are some photos of Prep E students enjoying their day.
