Free Holiday Event - Martial Arts Workshop
If you're looking for something for the kids to do over the holidays, come along to our StreetSmart Kids workshop. You are also welcome to bring a guest along free too.
No uniforms or previous martial arts experience are required. BOOK HERE
It’s fun, it’s free, it’s informative.
PS even if your child has attended this event before, we would recommend coming again, these are vital skills that benefit from regular refreshing.

Your child (6yrs+) will learn:
- How to recognize potential threats
- Street safe strategies
- Home safe strategies
- School safe strategies
- Prevention & awareness
- The “street smart” ABC’s
- Simple & Effective self-defence techniques
- Situational awareness
- Protective behaviours

Little Athletics Queensland is proud to present a special NAIDOC Week School Holiday Athletics Program—a fun, inclusive, and educational experience designed to engage young people aged 8–11 in the world of athletics while celebrating and honouring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
Program Details
Dates: 10/07/2025
Location: QSAC (Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre) – SAF Stadium, Kessels Road, Nathan QLD 4111
Ages: any child, 8–11 years
Cost: $50
What's included:
- Hands-on coaching in running, jumping, and throwing events
- Cultural activities celebrating NAIDOC Week
- Fun games and teamwork challenges
- Opportunities to meet experienced coaches and role models
This program is open to all ability levels and aims to foster a love of sport, cultural awareness, and personal growth in a supportive and welcoming environment.

The Gap SHS - Seeking Homestay Families
We are currently seeking welcoming families within the broader community to open their homes to international students. These students come from countries such as China, South Korea, Brazil, and Thailand and are eager to experience life in Australia and engage in cultural exchange.
Hosting an international student is a wonderful way for families to share their culture, form lasting connections, and make a real difference in the life of a young person. We’re looking for families who offer warmth, care, and a supportive environment, helping students to thrive as they settle into life here in Australia.
Key Details:
- Weekly Allowance: $369 (to assist with hosting costs)
- Duration: 1 month to 3 years
- Age Range: 14-17 years
- Countries of Origin: China, South Korea, Brazil, Thailand
