District Track & Field Trials
Congratulations to our 36 athletes who delivered an outstanding performance at the Northern Eagles District Track & Field Trials held at QSAC last week. Their dedication and effort were truly impressive, and they represented our school with pride and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
We will notify the students selected to represent the Northern Eagles Team at the upcoming regional trials as soon as official confirmation is received from the district.

Parents/Coaches – We are looking for some help!
Students benefit from training in their sports prior to competing against students from other schools. To make this happen, we are asking for some parent volunteers to assist and provide training for the students for a range of sports - days and times can be negotiated to suit our volunteer’s schedules.
Please contact our PE team if you have some experience in any of the sports mentioned above and can help our students get some training at school.
Junior Cross Country (Prep – Year 2)
The Prep to Year 2 Cross Country will be held in Week 6 this term on Monday 18th August from 9am-10:30am. The focus of the carnival is participation. We encourage students to wear a shirt in their house colour:
Cook – Green
Flinders – Yellow
Oxley – Red
Family members are welcome to attend. We will share more information about the Prep to Year 2 Cross Country in the next newsletter.
