Educators Workshop
This week, we were delighted to welcome educators from twelve local Early Learning Centres and Kindergartens to a special Educator Session. The purpose of the morning was to provide an opportunity for early childhood educators to deepen their understanding of Indooroopilly State School, explore the strengths of our vibrant community, and meet our dedicated Prep and Specialist Support team—partners in every child’s transition to school. Together, we discussed how we can collaborate to ensure a smooth and successful start to school for all children. It was an enriching and positive morning.

Enrolment Interviews and Story Time Sessions
Prep 2026 Enrolments Now Open
Enrolment interviews for our Prep 2026 cohort have begun, and it has been wonderful to meet siblings of current students and welcome many new families to our incredible Indooroopilly community. If you haven’t yet submitted your enrolment, I encourage you to do so as soon as possible so that you don’t miss out on upcoming transition events.
This term, we are holding Story Time Sessions—short, informal reading sessions designed to help children become familiar with our school grounds and meet some friendly faces. These sessions are open to enrolled families only. Last week, we were delighted to welcome nine students from Journey Learning and several other 2026 Prep students as we joined the current Prep cohort to celebrate 100 Days of Prep! See the poster below to enrol today and register for upcoming sessions.
Next term, we will be hosting Prep Workshops on Fridays and Saturdays to help both parents and students get to know our school even better.
Together, we can make the transition to school a wonderful experience for every child.
