Year 3- Solar Oven Construction

In Science, Year 3 have been using their knowledge of heat transfer to design a solar oven (in groups) to test to see if they can heat up a pikelet. 3A were very engaged during the construction of their solar oven.

Year 6- Shape Robots

Working with their Prep E buddies, 6E helped construct robots. Inspired by the art of Eric Carle, the Preps selected various shapes to create collages of shape-based robots. Some designed families, others ensured their robots were properly attired, and one was just sleepy. 6E thoroughly enjoyed the experience, especially the opportunity to collaborate in such a creative way.
