The draft master plan identifies possible sites and designations for future development in our school. It does not guarantee that every component will be delivered, but it does provide a way forward should growth in Indooroopilly continue.

New Building
Below is a draft image of our new multi-storey classroom build when viewed from the bottom oval. Work commences early in 2019 with completion planned for the start of the 2020 school year. The building will be located on the area currently occupied by the Singleton Oval toilet block and water tanks, extending down the hill to the bottom oval edge. Once complete, a total of 15 new classrooms will be created as well as one large flexible learning area. This building is identified as “1A” and “1B” on the master plan.
Ko&Ko architects have included some sample statements around the interior and exterior concepts of the new build.
Below is an example of one of the four floors in our new building.
This will be a significant building process for our school and a year of pain and patience is expected. What is also expected is that at the end of 2019, we will have some fantastic new spaces for learning.
Taringa Parade Re-development
The Brisbane City Council latest budget gives fully funded approval for the redevelopment of the Moggill Road end of Taringa Parade. Unfortunately, we are yet to see any concrete plans from council for this area.
Fire Hydrant System
The fire hydrant system is planned for completion by the end of this term. The pump station and water storage tanks are located on the bottom oval. Additional hydrant points have been installed across the school.
School Pool
The Department of Education has fully funded a new filtration system for the school pool which has at the same time allowed for the conversion of the pool to salt-water. The swim club is currently finalising the installation of a series of shade sails above the pool.
